Sooo.....

Must win?
Must not lose?
Take a point?
Free hit?
Play the stiffs, focus on the 6 pointer?

It's a game of opinions.

Mine is that if we don't win then it'll depend on what the others do as to how big a blow that will be.
Just focus on wht the others do
It’s immaterial what we do do
Or might do
Or could do
Or will do
Or don’t do
Is all I want to say to you

I remember prem days at home to Burnley end of season. We needed to win. No energy performance. Nil nil. I went home fuming that we didn’t have a single booking showing to me that no one got stuck in.
Got relegated

So none of that **** I expect hard fought win with at least 4 bookings.
That's fine as long they're to 4 different players...

City web site saying players need our support on Monday , I think the fans need the players support

The old chicken and egg dilemma, which comes first?
Always good to get your excuses in early though. It's a big away day for them and I'm sure their players will be on board with it, our lot need to be getting up to speed from before the off. Which way are we playing, where are we and them doing the pre match warm ups, how we start the game, how the players react to the way it goes. Sadly I'm not confident right now in the club, the manager or the players.

As AlRawdah says, we have to win one of these next two.

The trouble of course is that we've had these sorts of home games so many times and we almost never win them. And so often it's the same failings.

Tomorrow that has to stop. No more looking like we're on top but not really creating anything clear cut. No more 10 corners but 6 of them are headed away at the near post and not a single one is met by a City head. No more timidly passing our biggest chance of the game down the middle of the goal. No more flashing the ball across goal but no one being anywhere near it. Stop conceding right after half time and for ****s sake score a first half goal City. Maybe the ref has to give us something for once; maybe it's time we had a penalty or an opposition player got sent off rather than always the other way around - it's now six in a row against us under Selles without a single one going our way. It would be less annoying if teams just outplayed us, but always suffering from these same issues and then losing by the odd goal has got us where we are and it's gone on way too long.

Didn’t they have a big physical centre mid who ran the show last time? Mcann or whiteman?
It’s about time our centre mids got stuck in and dominated the game

Was it Ben Whiteman? Anyway, as you say, time for Alzate, Puerta, Slater or whoever is in there to run the game for a change

Reading the comments it seems like we need to do things that we haven't done
much of at all recently

I'm just wondering why Monday would be any different , the players don't
thrive under a bit of pressure , they look scared if anything
I was just thinking the very same.

It has been said many times, our recruitment has been scattergun at best

totally agree, from day one under Acun it's been quantity rather than quality
Lost count of the number of mediocre signings that have come in (the money wasted on Sinik is scandalous!!!!)
Under Acun have City ever purchased a decent Championship level striker ?
I was at the Watford game & Crooks had two great chances to score & he missed both (1 on 1 with keeper & shot wide & then goal gaping some weak backheel effort). A quality striker would have buried both of them & that game could have ended 1-2 to City
I was jubilant when Acun purchased City & the Allams left but now after 5 managers, countless poor signings & staring relegation to Div 1 in the face
I think he is clueless about football . He may well have done good things off the pitch but on the pitch City are a shambles & he has to take full responsibility for that
