The comments about Allsop and Connolly being ‘right’ are surface level. We, as fans, can be critical on forums and social media of individual players and their performances but ultimately, the decision who plays is the head coach’s. For an owner of the club to publicly throw individual players under the bus to the fans because of their performances is beyond the pale. It’s so unprofessional and piss-poor. The guy’s a clown and it only takes his fragile ego to be hurt for him to turn out like Chansiri. He really reminds me of Musk in that he’s a business owner who has cultivated this weird personality cult around him but he has an incredibly thin skin and will let that influence business decisions.

I really can’t stand him and despite how much I was glad to see the back of the Allams, I think this guy will end up being worse at the end of it.

Someone outed his burner twitter account after the Swansea game. Some of the posts are interesting

‘Kinell all of a sudden Acuns a whatever who some don’t like don’t trust , don’t like his personality etc ffs
You may be right about his decisions some of which have been good intentioned but naive only . Rosie went because he failed to make the most of a team that was way good enough for top 2 or playoffs - it was ‘his’ tactics that failed nothing else .
Acun and Tan’s lack if understanding of the championship has been the problem that’s where ‘local’ knowledge was essential an older footie director like Horton etc should have been his advisor .

It's so cyclical this thing with managers too. We hounded out Rosenior having compared him to Carrick and others who were doing so much better supposedly. Now we're starting to do the same with Selles. And no one who called for the sacking that gave us this ****e season seems to admit in any way that it's proven them wrong. For a while they were determined to bring up Rosenior every time he lost a game at Strasbourg and every time a job went to someone other than him in the summer, but now he's fighting for the Champions League he's not to be mentioned. They're determined not to learn any lessons from it.
Never red so much drivel in one post in a long time

He makes some interesting points but I’ve not really seen anyone bringing up Strasbourg losses to make a point about Rosenior’s shortcomings. Frankly, I don’t really care.

I've seen a few but think they might have been by the same poster.
I tend not to notice who postes what. I don't even notice if it's the same people I agree/disagree with

Back to form I see, another who can’t explain his thoughts so call something with a bit of content ‘ ****e’ . Very creative
I may be right or wrong but at least I write something with some thought , it s so easy to bomb something with one word - Saturday night sauce I guess .
Try contradicting me and explain the ‘****e’ I’m fine with that . More than happy to consider your perspective .

Acun is a football fan, which is a good and bad thing. He has the passion and the understanding of fans that the Allams lacked, among other things. But having him in charge of football decisions is arguably worse than a non football person. A non-football person delegates to those who know, as the Allams did to Steve Bruce and Stan Ternent (at least for the first few years), our recruitment was very good and the manager picked the team without question. Football fans tend to think we know more than we do, and we're reactive and hyperbolic in our thinking, often going from one extreme to another. People inside the game would scoff at our thinking. Acun first and foremost is a football fan like us and some of his football decisions show the same flawed thinking as our posts on here.

Still rather have him than the Allams any day of the week mind.
