I'll preface this with; i haven't seen the game. Ive been busy with the children.

Its been a weird old season, some of the best performances I have seen from us have come this season, mainly Sheff Wed at home. We haven't hit those dizzy heights for a long time now.

We are lethargic, it would be naive to blame fatigue. But I do think some of our injury issues haven't helped some of the performances of players like Neil, Jobe Cirkin, Mepham at times this season.

We were poor vs West Brom and for 45 mins against Norwich at least. We got 4 good points in those games, but surely with the pressure supposedly being off for these couple of games, with even Harrison Jones starting his 1st league game, we could play with some sort of freedom. My friend is a bit of a moaner but hes usually spot on with his assessments and he said we were woeful today again.

We need to be careful of going into these play offs too scared to play our game or being an offensive unit capable of starting well. Its very worrying.

With that said, having reads this forum, I think there's been some extreme comments on both sides, abuse towards Reg and then people abusing other posters who they disagree with. Im not the messiah on these takes but it just frustrates me to read it. I think the abuse of Le Bris is a case of people taking their emotions out into their words and looking for a bit of reaction.

Hes definitely warranting questions, or else we look like boot lickers, similarly we have definitely overachieved the early season expectations but I think come Xmas our hopes and expectations changed, since then weve dropped off a bit and obviously missed out on lots of points we expected to grab and/or shouldve grabbed.

The lack of a press, the slow attacks, the fear. The subs, the weird team choices. Its ****.

I could probably say a lot more but I've the memory of a goldfish.

Don't understand why your having a massive rant on the match day thread after not seeing the game wtf is that about haha

No way in a million years is that our starting line up for the play offs.
So how you can say there's no way we're going up after a game we used as a training match.
Playing our strongest 11 we will match anyone

We cant go into the playoffs with 11 plauers mate. Baring in mind at least half of todays team will start.
The players that step in are clearly not upto the standard required

I have to say that I don't like our style of football. It's effective clearly but when we play bad it's a very hard watch and I don't think it would translate well if we went up. We don't create enough quality chances, I rarely feel like we control the game and we allow the opposition to sustain attacks.

Jobe is a huge miss, our style is reliant on him playing as he's the link between defence and attack. Wins the ball back more than anyone and carries or passes forward constantly.

I predicted we would finish mid table so i'm more than happy with the playoffs, as everyone is I think, but expectations change throughout the season and recently I don't think it's been good enough. Need to have a string of good performances going into the playoffs.

I agree it would be better to be going into the playoffs in form and there’s enough games left to achieve that. Much like preseason performances tend to improve towards the end and stronger line ups begin to take shape. Look, if we play like the last couple of games in the playoffs I would be just as disappointed and critical as you are today but i certainly wouldn’t be playing strongest line up now in case of any injuries. Important few weeks coming up

Just as likely to pick up injuries by not kicking a ball for a month then being dropped into the play off games with no match fitness. Le Fee has barely played for months he needs game time. We are overcomplicating it, just play your strongest Xl. The intensity undoubtedly won’t be the same as it would be if we were playing for something (see Preston when we beat them 3-0 last game of the season to make play offs) but it’s minutes on the pitch together for our best Xl who are going into the play offs.

What’s the point in playing Neil, Rigg and Jones in midfield? It’s absolutely weak as piss. No physicality between them whatsoever. That 3 wouldn’t even get a game for a bottom half team. If he wants to experiment then do it with players you’re going to be relying on for the play offs not U21s. Trying to get Samed into the team alongside Neil on the off chance we pick up an injury in the play offs I’d say is more important than giving a lad minutes for the sake of it.

Referee was awful, the only thing he got right all day was telling their keeper to get up when he was feigning injury
Is the standard of refereeing getting worse? Because I think it is. At the very top in the PL it's horrendous right the way down to kids football they just seem to allow anyone to officiate. Ruins so many games.

We were ****e today.

Nowt really else to add

Nearly as bad as Tuesday. We're a million miles away from promotion right now and frustratingly its there for the taking because theres literally no stand out teams in this league at all this season

Are you worried about the confidence of some players? I agree on a good day, but a few are having more poor days in recent times. Isidor in particular looks flat.

Disappointing again last half a dozen home games performances have been getting very stale.
Team looks flat consequently crowd is flat. Don't want to criticize RLB its been a hell of a season. But his conservative attitude has slowed things down lately. We allow poor teams to look good. On the flip side we have the players to beat anyone just worry that its very difficult to go from where we are to suddenly playing on the front foot. Also you pay your money to be entertained and at home at least its a long time since I felt that.

Disagree there. Leeds and Burnley both better than we are, comfortably too

Was so pissed off today with him, he bought every single dive and fake injury missed every proper tackle and stopped play for a foul when we had advantage, absolutely awful. And prity sure we should have had a pen too but not seen it back yet.
