Knowing how good we were at home vs Burnley and Sheff Wed too, makes you wonder what's up, why dont we attack games with the same style and vigour? Honestly, watch the first half of both of those games back, we could have had 10 goals.

I dont think that is all that relevant tbh. I will judge on what they do in out colours, in this division. The opponents in this tough league wont give a toss about reputations, and nor should they.

Samed in particular has looked miles off anything Neil, Jobe and Rigg have done for us in this division. I dont get the clamour to replace them, who have given us this season, with lads who on paper have big reps. Le Fee has shown flashes, and we know the gaffer wants to play him, but if I had to pick one player we couldnt be without in the play offs it wouldnt be him right now. That player would be Jobe, hands down.

Wilson form seems worrying. Do we stick with him to try and get the Wilson we saw back? Or do we let Mayenda have at it. I think our midfield is far more suited to Mayenda than Wilson. We need the wall pass option. I thought his perm deal would see him push on even more, but it almost like the smile has gone.

I agree with you there, it's the here and now that counts.

Whoever isn't making a serious contribution should be looking over his shoulder, reputations don't win matches.

At the moment we seem to be lacking a leader, on the pitch, and someone creative.

Dan Neil has 'vanished' again although that could be that he's missing Jobe ...

... Watson looks like he's just half hearted which is a shame.

Scored a good goal today. If you ignore the fact he was likely offside, his technique and finishing was excellent

I'm not too bothered about momentum or lack of it going into the playoffs, when the chips are down we'll get it together and have a good crack at it. I think rotating the squad and resting key players in preparation is the smart move.

One thing I'd say is we should be starting/playing Mayenda as often as possible, probably our biggest attacking threat and he needs as many minutes as possible. Also when Le Fee is on the pitch it should exclusively be in the middle so he can develop relationships etc.

Yeah neither, Southampton won them last year after losing 3 on the bounce just before including losses to Cardiff, stoke and a 5-0 to Leicester.

I'd rather we went into them with a fit and rested squad, I think we've shown we can beat anyone on our day and I back us to have those days when it matters.

Yeah we seem to show up regardless of form against the top teams, can play ****e for weeks then look top notch whenever its a big game.

Haven’t had a chance to read over any of this. For me, I don’t have a problem with that today. Fully understand it’s frustrating (I was there) but we will finish 4th, almost guaranteed. The focus now has to be getting every single person in the squad up to speed, and that’s what they did today. They’ve done enough this season for me to trust the process. If we flop the semis then yeah, fair enough, but I’m still fully expecting we go up.

Based on what? I’m not taking the piss, it’s a genuine question

Sheff United are likely to be our toughest opponent in a play off campaign. They’ve gained 9 more points than we have and won 5 more games! To ‘expect’ promotion is mental imo.

I don't think it matters unless we improve our supply to whoever is up front. They aren't getting a sniff.

    That's not a bad suggestion …

… although they might get picked up with the random drug tests.
