Yeah I watched some youtube videos on the collapses and panic around it. Saw a couple buildings just collapse like a pack of cards, but they seemed to be on stilts, places like where you can either park or walk underneath. So once the pillars go, the whole lot above just follows. I know nowt about contruction btw, but I'd certainly give those buildings a wide berth, also would put me off being on high floor in some of them tower blocks, scary ****.

This isn't what the junta are doing in Myanmar though. They're ignoring the people buried under rubble and focusing on rebels elsewhere in the country.

Far from it. They are just anti political Zionism, which they see as a contravention of a statement in the Talmud that God will only give the land back to the Jews when the time is right, and that it is forbidden to rush or force this issue.
I.e. they believe with absolute certainty that the land - all of it by the way not up to the 1967 borders, all of it as per the Bible - rightfully belongs to the Jews as they were promised by God, and they pray for that promise to be fulfilled soon but believe that it isn't yet the right time.
