Over-rated. He just isn't that good. Produces the good rarely and a bad attitude. Makes me laugh when he scores a few goals and people suddenly think he's the best player ever.

    Cloud to our silver lining:

This is going to make our life a bit harder, not sure either of them are going to take the Europa too seriously so will not have the distractions that they otherwise would have.

On the other hand if United continue to play without a spark apart from Park (sorry it just rhymed) then they won't be as a big a danger as their history suggests.

On the contrary Luke the demise of both Manchester teams is very good news for Spurs. In Uniteds case it is not just a blip, they have been off the boil for much of this season. It's only the fact that L/pool Chelsea & Arsenal have been worse that they are still up there.

This is not at all true, there is enormous benefit to Spurs.

Both Manchester Clubs have suffered from a damaged reputation from going out at this stage, they will be much less attractive now to new signings in January (which are needed in both cases, clearly).

In addition they will lose money from gate receipts and TV revenue (although admittedly, this is not that significant for City).

Not so bad really as Arsenal and Chelsea will have to play their best teams in the last 16 and really they are our competitors for the 3rd 4th place(I know we would like to get 2nd or even 1st).So with the Manc's both losing they can put out their best teams against both Arsenal and Chelsea.Have to look at the fixture list now.

City going out was for the good of football. United going out was the extra cherry on top.

Oh on the United board they were blaming the ref at half time, saying the 1st goal shouldn't have been allowed coz a united player was down with a head injury. The silly sod bumped into his own team mate and was getting up before the ball had even gone in the net.OH HAPPY DAYS.

I saw Rooney berating the ref, I wonder if it was for him missing an open goal! :)

Why would it be the Glazer's fault? Fergie's had plenty to spend.
