The Russians funded the IRA in 1927 but not since as far as I know, more money came from the USA. We are not looking to fund a war, NATO wants peace, UK wants peace, USA wants peace, Ukraine wants peace, the only ones who want war are Putin and his cronies
I hope they’re ok. Sad to see what their terrible immigration policies have done. Back to the topic at hand; Keir Starmer seems to think it’s wise to continue provoking Putin instead of genuinely striving for peace. These are the odds he is facing: This doesn’t even take into account the fact that they still have a large manufacturing base which could be immediately used to aid the wartime effort - which we simply do not have. Europe outsourced its manufacturing long ago to countries that would likely be neutral or allied with Russia. This is why I find his posturing so embarrassing.
This war is not pointless to the Ukranians or to Putin, the point of a Peace Keeping Force is to keep the peace, not to fight a war.
Os, I promised I'd listen to this, and I've done 40 minutes so far, but to commit to another 2 hours and 20 minutes of my day, I'm going to need to have some help here. So far, it's utterly embarrassing. The first five minutes was some of the most excruciating podcasting I've ever had the misfortune to watch, but I thought 'okay, let's ignore this and let them get on to the main stuff'. It's two 'bros' slapping each other on the back. Rogan is clearly either woefully under-researched on things, or he's just not interested in challenging Musk on anything at all. I'm not going to sit for another 2 hours listening to him saying "wow" and "you're kidding" and just agreeing with anything coming out of Musk's mouth. The very few times he mistakenly asks a question to clarify something, Musk stumbles and says "well I think so" or something along those lines. If you tell me it changes and becomes an actual discussion that has any substance and challenge, then I'll hold my nose and carry on. I've already said I think the concept of DOGE is a sensible one, but that it needs an adult to run it properly. There's nothing at all I've seen/heard on this so far that has changed my view on either point - in fact, it's solidified the second part of that harder.

That's two thirds of the number that your cute graphic states. Hahaha. They have had their arses seriously handed to them in this war, and if Ukraine was equal in personnel and equipment, the war wouldn't have lasted more than a year. And that's Ukraine. Ukraine's equipment, until they started getting help, was extremely basic. You really think Russia has a million soldiers to put up in another fight? Then why are they using conscripts, prisoners, and f*cking North Koreans? Loool. Russia has lost 30 ships and a submarine, to a country that doesn't even have a Navy! The only thing they have that scares other Western nations is the nukes. Apart from that they are so incredibly incompetent, that I think even just a small alliance of Euro nations (UK, France, Poland), would defeat them in a very short period of time. Ok now where does the fuel come from to power these vehicles? Europe has decimated their energy infrastructure to the point that it still has to purchase Russian energy even now. With America refusing to backstop NATO, would they help? Possibly not. Not to mention all of the above forces are relatively pointless when you consider that Russia has thousands of nuclear weapons. Basically Starmer wants to risk the annihilation of the UK on a vanity project, instead of being a grown up. He is a very dangerous prime minister, perhaps the most dangerous in our lifetime

Yes, even in that circumstance America would help, because we’d be paying them for the fuel. The amount of nukes you have is pretty irrelevant, by the way, as it only takes one before MAD occurs. Nobody is suggesting attacking Russia btw.
