Don't worry, this is prime time for me haha.

It's not gonna be easy for me to elaborate because it's been years since I last watched it but I just remember thinking it was pretty one dimensional and relied almost entirely on 'what is this crazy guy with the gun going to think of next' for all and any plot development. Thought the idea of Farrel's character (who we're supposed to both despise but also root for) being punished for screwing around was reasonably lame. Also didn't think there was good enough suspense for a thriller, it sort of went round and round - calm for a bit .. then oo he might shoot careful.. oh its calm again.. oh no he might shoot again!! etc.

    That looks promising.

I'm not getting my hopes up though as it might just be some ****ty money making prequel with know elements of the original apart from the story of course.

I kind of liked how it focused on one place in real time instead of different scenes at different places with different shots.

I'm don't watch many suspense-thrillers but I found it pretty nerve racking, might just be because I have a pretty simple mind...

HURRRR HE'S GONNA SHOOT HIM DURRR OH WAIT HE'S NOT HERP DERP!

Haha, don't take my dislike as a personal insult. I just wasn't keen on it! I'll be honest though I seem to remember a bit with a hooker getting shot or something which was pretty nerve racking.

I'm not insulted, I'm just putting myself down due to confidence issues...

Meh, one of them movies you can't really watch repeatedly.

What I want to know is why did Colin Farrell have to play the main character? His American accent is as good as mine, which is to say, appalling. Were all the American actors busy during the (I'm guessing here) two or three days it took them to film it?

    Good idea, woefully executed.

Aye, we've got a few in this year boss. This years rate, if you're wanting an Exec Double, from Christmas Eve till Boxing Day, is around £120 Per person per night. However, if you booked for next year well in advance, you could make a decent saving.
