Norwich are more of a possession team under Thorup than Wagner. They play with their right-back inverting into midfield and all that jazz.

They seem to be still horrible bastards though. Duffy broke a player’s leg against Preston. We should fight fire with fire. We need to knock seven bells of **** out of Sainz. We need to show nous and aggression from minute 1. Don’t let them set the tempo. Puerta has to play. Not the biggest or the strongest but has that aggression. Their fullbacks are probably their weakest point. Left-back is a young kid and the right-back Fisher is as well.

This is a game for the dark arts and gamesmanship. Coyle’s a bit too honest I fear. Drameh might be more inclined to leave one on Sainz. Gelhardt on the right to support the right-back against Sainz as Kamara can’t be trusted.

On this note, what I want to see is after we have our usual home game decent start and seem to be on top, to go for the ****ing kill and not rest on our laurels. Against Stoke we seemed to get so complacent because we'd started well and I think we've seen this a lot in home games that we've gone on to lose over the last couple of years. Alzate's interview after Stoke was quite telling I thought. He was saying how much they were enjoying it and how they couldn't believe how much the game turned. We need to be always desperate for the next goal until we genuinely are comfortable.

Thats very true

The complaceny we show is honestly shocking
Im not sure where it comes from
But its as obvious as day and we sometimes play like we are 4 or 5-0 up

Cocky ****s with no basis

Im surprised we dont try antony spins and **** also

This is my biggest gripe with the current squad. On paper they shouldn’t be where they are, and they almost treat certain games (Stoke, QPR) like we are sitting pretty in mid table and the result doesn’t really matter

It's a weird one. The belief is there at times but not at others, as our inconsistency might suggest.
I'm determined to continue having faith in Selles, as we need a level-headed person at the helm and he certainly appears to tick that box.
Come on City, let this be actual new dawn, and not another in a long line of false ones.
