Lovely goal but he's 36yrs old and if he was still with us we would have seen a photo of him post surgery with his thums up and his ACL or Hamstrings in a kidney bowl

My how the time has flown.
Super Jan with probably the best performance I have ever seen from a Spurs defender in my life.
Incidentally, our line up that evening was:

Probably my favourite game from when we called Wembley home we were behind the goal that Jan scored in great night.
It was a great night indeed, but I think Willy Gallas' performance against the Gooners in the 2-3 win at the Hemorrhoidsis still tops for me.
And his one v Milan in the last 16 of the CL at WHL in 2011!

I was wondering why the **** we were playing Vertonghen at left wingback at the start.
No striker, 5 at the back, Alli injured... it was not looking good.
I was roughly in line with the edge of the six yard box of the goal that we were attacking in the 2nd half.
Absolute masterclass.

Another great memory was the win over Real , me and my son watched it in a local boozer , landlord was a gooner and told us to keep the noise down !!!!
After we scored the 3rd we had the whole pub singing " oh when the Spurs " pissed the gooner off big time and told not to come back
Glad to say it was closed by the brewery that year
