Havertz out for the season. They didn’t sign a striker in the window.

My heart bleeds
Absolute madness that they didn't replace Nketiah and Smith-Rowe in the summer, let alone January.
Ran Saka, Martinelli and Havertz into the ground and they're all crocked now.
Still, at least they've got about half a dozen left-backs, eh?

Perhaps buying good players is a bit harder than most seem to think. Even Guardiola seems to have run into a set of average signings.

Guardiola made a series of rather naive mistakes, by his standards.
You could see that some of his older players were running out of steam, de Bruyne and Walker in particular.
Combine that with Rodri being key to the system and having no backup and selling Alvarez without replacing him.
He's also gone with a bunch of centre-halves and virtually no fullbacks, for some reason.

It's not average signings that's done the damage, in City's case.
It's a lack of team balance, foresight and perhaps a bit of arrogance.

Not the first time he's done that, either

He's had seasons where they haven't had a striker, seasons where they had twice as many FBs as CBs, and seasons where they've had twice as many CBs as FBs

Arsenal are reportedly offering a contract extension to a certain Premier League player in his 30s.
Absolute scum club.

I've seen and heard a number of filth fans saying variations of "they only beat Utd".
Generally speaking, I'd say that's a fair assessment. They're not very good, by their own admission.
However, I'd also have to bring this up:

At home against 10 men for an hour and still couldn't do what we did four times this season.
Maybe it would've been a different South London team lifting the FA Cup this week if they had?

I do recall having to share that exact page on Facebook a couple of months ago for similar reasons

For a fanbase as terminally online as theirs, they really don't seem to be looking at any site which lists their own results do they?
