they’d had a header which was offside and a goal which was a foul. Literally just watched it back. Some nice stuff up to final 3rd but nothing else. 23 minutes should have been 2 with Forss miss, but not exactly loads of shots wide. They’d had 4 shots by the 25th minute, and 2 of those shouldn’t have counted if not for poor refereeing

2-3 is the only evidence that matters …

… no one is disputing that Boro started better, not one person.

People are just ecstatic that we won and couldn’t care less about ‘providing evidence’ and winning arguments. We had a big deflection and an OG, does anyone out there care … hello, anyone <laugh>

Eh, yes they are. Have you read the replies. That's exactly the point.
 
Still think we as a fanbase need to stop the "its not a derby" schtick. Whilst it is funny to wind up Boro fans, we ALWAYS start slow against Boro. They're always bang up for it and we're not. I genuinely think if we saw it as a derby we'd win against them more.

Obviously didn't matter this season but it has in the past and nearly did last night.

I'm convinced we should be closer than we are. We've dropped points in games we absolutely shouldn't have. But I guess the other 3 sides could all say the same.

I value the Newcastle game more, but I think the boro game is bigger than every other

I’ve always been in the ‘not a derby’ camp, but my god it felt like one last night.

Burnley (0-0, two pens) and the loss at Bramall Lane, where we hammered them and they got an injury time winner. 6 points instead of 1, against rivals and things look a bit different.

think Burnley ( we will see tonight how they get on) and SU will fall.

both are shoehorning too many players in to make a squad,

we have squad full of team members. we have a group that are together. they dont

Boro could easily have been 3-0 up after 20 mins. Was a disastrous start.

We were definitely the better team for the final hour and deserved the win.
