Not sure what you expected really? No point going crazy like we did 2 years ago. Ideally could have done with shifting a few more out but the window has gone as expected really.

Surprised we couldn’t get at least a premier league loan in this window. Understand not spending in this window, but is going to have to be a major workload in the summer window. As previously said, the most important thing to sort asap, is a new sporting director. If the German dude can’t get a work permit, we need to look elsewhere, and quickly.
I'm not surprised - but maybe a little annoyed.
We messed up the PL loan slots last summer, back when we actually had something to play for. So if we couldn't get it right then, there was little reason to think this window would be any different.
You're right in the respect that our season was done and dusted December 1st, but you'd hope the club would do some business. Show the long suffering and pretty ****ing patient fans that there's a plan of sorts for next season. Even chuck us a bit of a bone for this season. If they're throwing in the towel and confirming this season is all over, why am I paying full Premier league prices for my ST? If we're admitting we're a championship club at the moment then give me a ****ing discount.

I know people are desperately trying to find positives, but where has the assumption that we're going to spend in the summer come from?
And why is it better to spaff money in the summer and not now?
Because we’ve spent money in every summer window so far, and because we’re far more likely to be able to unearth decent players in the summer, plus we should have a DoF in place by then.
Other than that…
In case people are continuing to miss it, we have also brought in two first team players this window (who both look good), which is more than I would have expected us to do...
Why? Despite our position, as I said above, we've managed to bring in two first team players who both look good.
Sadly, the fact that us not spending now genuinely is a positive shows how **** the situation we are in is.
Last January before relegation we spaffed about £50m on Orsic, Sulemana and Onuachu, who have offered us next to nothing in the 2 years since. At least this time we won't have those big fees forcing us to flog anyone and everyone in the summer.
It could be the difference between keeping someone like Fernandes or having to sell him.
Welington was signed in the summer. Nothing to do with this window really.
