Really pleased with Danns, from what I know of him he has the skill set I’d want to complement our other options if we insisted on bringing another out and out striker in. Loan keeps our powder dry until we know what league we’ll be playing in too.

People wanted us to pay a significant fee on Cannon and that was largely based on his time at Preston. But he arrived there with less pedigree and less senior experience than Danns has.

Happy deadline day lads. Think I’m in the minority on this one but my priority of signings would be RW/LB/ST. With left wing going ahead of ST if Watson leaves.

Bit surprised with the Danns deal too. Not sure he gets a lot of minutes unless mayenda is going to be Roberts competition on the right. Can’t complain about the depth he brings though, just hope he’s ready to contribute.

Hopefully we’re happy with the business at the end of the day and even happier with three points at the riverside. HTL

That is a very limited view. It turns a deaf ear to what has been going on since these people turned up.

They do it their way, and they have been very open about what that way entails. I'm very happy to watch them keep doing it, even if no one turns up today.

While Mayenda hasn’t scored much this season and panics a little when a chance falls to him he’s assisted and been involved in loads of goals. Maybe use him on the wing he’s more direct and powerful than Roberts, it looks like a well thought out process rather than panicking ( all in my tiny little mind of course).

Would be very happy with Danns. Liverpool obviously rate him as he’s been in and around their squad this season. Mayenda always looks a threat when he’s played in Roberts position as well so gives additional option there.
A new striker isn’t going to take Wilson’s place especially after his hat trick tonight!
