Its a huge commitment for parents, I bet most families don’t have the luxury of supporting kids through high level football until they’re teens and able to go off and do it under their own steam.
lt seems to be a physicality issue for the most part. It’s good they’ve now got futsal established within the development process as it’s an excellent way for smaller/leaner players to learn how to use their bodies to hold their own against bigger players
6 more signings and I think we’ll have a decent side. GK RB LB Hard **** in CM Goal scorer That’s 5 so im open to suggestions what the 6th signing should be. We could do with a false pivot IMO.
25 minutes in to todays game my half time comment was going to be declaring we are actually a good side now. Good job they scored to save me embarrassing me sen.
There are positives but that defence just isn't up to it. Seen Hughes getting some pelters saying he's got mistakes in him. Kids a class above the rest of them. Jones is good enough next to him. The rest...see ya.
That was one positive from today .... it further proved (if they really needed it) that the defence, both in terms of defending and in terms of going forward, just isn't up to it and needs improving asap. On top of that, Hughes is still a few weeks away and can hardly be relied up for the rest of the season, and Burns was missing?
Don't we have someone promising from academy, we had good players in previous age groups, Bowen 96, James 97 (didn't play for us professionally but still), KLP 01, Greaves 00. I guess Jarvis 02, is the last meaningful graduate, may be what we need is a fresh local talent. It is about time.
Newcastle city centre. Closed the venue 4. Couple 'refreshers' with the staff til 6. Home with a cold kebab by 8. Same again tonight. And btw if it's still dark, it's still night. Whether or not you wish to have an argument about it, I suggest you contact the Greenwich Observatory.
