The big thing for me is that Clarke returning would mean the chances of him finishing his career here would be fairly decent. That career history would make him wary of ever leaving again.
Seen OTR Brightons bid for Tommy Watson allegedly about £2m! What an absolute insult that is both to the club and Tommy.
Can't be right, didn't we turn down a £3M deal in the summer, again according to OTR. Some right wallopers about.
Does anyone know how much it is? People were telling us it was £3 million in the summer. Total made up ****
Anyone expecting a big deal for a lad who's played 4 games in a lower league with 18 months left is barmy. Anything over £6m we should strongly consider
The length of his contract is only relevant if he absolutely refuses to sign a new deal though which we have no reason to believe is the case.
Isidor is better all round than Cannon like so I’d say he’s worth close to £10m already but he defo needs to improve in front of goal. If he can improve his composure and finishing nothing stopping him having a good season for us in the PL if we get promoted and his value doubling. I think £40m as mentioned above is a bit of a stretch like but £20-25m is where I’d put him if he went up and had a season similar to that of Delap this season.
wow, seems the club has it all in hand after all eh, who would have guessed. wilson isid-ours, excellent news.
I've been saying, to the lads, he's been trying too hard ... ... now he has a contract he can take a breath and calm the f*ck down
He isn't actually had that much game time previously as an out an out striker. It's why his back to goal play hasn't been great but he's getting better and better in that aspect Got everything to be a PL striker imo
So, do we still need 2/3 in or just 2? also when trying to turn the volume up on your TV, your phone isn’t a controller
He looks like he hits the ball like a proper striker mind. I know it sounds daft because he scored a hat full but I always said Stewart looked like he rarely made a decent connection on the ball when he struck it whereas Isidor is the opposite he doesn’t half get his boot through the ball. If he can find the corners they’ll be unstoppable
