I wouldn't be selling Jobe, it would take a 40 million offer for me to sell

He is vital to us, and i don't think it's a good imagine for a team pushing for promotion ti sell their best player

United do need to sell before they can buy though so I'm not sure how high they'll be able to go

Hope the club stays strong but it will be tough if we get offered a club record fee

Question to the scout types among us, as ive long wondered. Obviously, if Jobe left, we wouldn't just be losing a good player, but a bit of extra physicality in the midfield. We could technically sell him, not replace him and still go up.

But, like for like, who would you recommend as a signing to replace him? Someone physical, box to box, good attitude and mentality? Might be the hardest to replace.

they don’t exist at this level!!!

Hopefully the club stick to their guns and don't sell any key players in this window never mind the bid! Selling someone lime Jobe could be the difference between seeing this season over the line in terms of promotion and it falling away!

Absolutely, just find RLBs response when coming in appeared to polarise their positions. Ba and Pembele clearly getting nowhere near first team and Achouche put to graft to prove himself which he more than has. As I said it’s conjecture on my part, just that not every youngster coming in will thrive and I’ve unfortunately experienced small dissatisfied groups that can hit a negative spiral amongst themselves. I’m projecting my own biases here and no way am I claiming to know inner workings of club. I hope I’m totally wrong but I’m also really impressed with how Achouche has worked to get his game time.

When the manager came in he had to choose a squad to concentrate on at first ...

... happens at every club.

Just because a number of players weren't initially included it doesn't mean they were sent o play with the kids and no chance of making the first team ...

... otherwise we'd never have seen Tommy Watson would we?

Jobes profile is very unique. It’ll be very hard to replace directly. He has everything

You’re likely to sacrifice one or even two of his attributes

He is a perfect singing for them mate. Wont go into detail but literally a perfect one for them.

Might have missed it, but what was the fee we said we’d take? £25m? Doesn’t seem like enough to be honest.

this late in the window and given his quality, potential and the fact he is, in my opinion, absolutely critical to us if we want to get promotion and for me £25 million just even get anywhere near close enough.

Desperate in the middle. A big head coach and the rise of Man U back to form, 65k home gate, huge world wide following, and the top of the table aims will sell many players
If the rumours are to be true he'd be better off a move to an arsenal or even a top team abroad, would be a strange choice from family who have made bold choices for their kids, jude turned down man utd

Cant tell you happy this makes me mate. He is just our most important player.

All about opinions and all that, but I think that too. A player getting better. And getting better includes, for all players, growing their way out of indifferent patches, which Dan has done this season. They absolutely all have them, and he'll have others. But he is some footballer that lad.

I've been saying to my Man Utd supporting mate that he is the exact type they should be going for

They aren't competing for a title and won't go down, so almost the perfect time to sign him and then let him get up to speed

Jobe is similar in profile style of play to Morgan Rogers on his current form albeit Morgan is more advanced in his role atm, and imagine what he is going for if you were to value him now

Sorry, but man utd are an absolute huge club, top 3 in the world. They've had, and have, big problems. But if you get that type of opportunity, you should go and embrace it. You're not staying at sunderland for 6 months and getting a bigger move. Be realistic
