It is a stretch but so was getting the following players to us in L1 Evans Pritchard Roberts Clarke Batth Le fee and Mepham this yr were big signings fir this level so I wouldn't put it past KS to get this deal done (if we are after him)
A bit more than that, but he has the advantage of being a player that RLB knows inside out. He's also one who knows the system. Maybe Edwards would come straight in due to our short term issues wide left. He's got great ability for sure. However, would anyone be at all surprised if he was sat on the bench without getting minutes in the early days while RLB talks about him needing to build up connections with the other players? To be clear that would be a path that I'd absolutely advocate - so long as he's a permanent signing.
You need required points to gain the correct permit to play in England if you’re a foreign player a club has 3 ESC slots basically meaning they can register three players who do not qualify under those conditions
Basically teams are allowed a certain number of foreign players that fail to gain a work permit. Portsmouth have already used their quota.
GBE points are what qualifies a player to play in England - based on minutes, current club stature etc. you need 15 and i believe he only qualifies for 10 ESC spaces are what allows players who don't qualify for this to be registered anyway (I think you get 2) but they have used both of theirs on other foreign players.
