Probably why they celebrated our penalty misses so much down there. Nearest they get to seeing a goal.

Some of our fans expect a home win no matter who the opposition is, wonder if the Burnley forum gets as outraged as ours when it doesn't happen.....but thats football folks.Burnley season ticket holders must be bored to death.

You can prove anything with factsbefore I deleted twitter, fans didnt like to be reminded of this in talks over why KLD/KS needed to sell up
only LoN standing,You can prove anything with facts
I always like to go back to the last XI of the era before KLD started influencing things just over 4 years ago:
Matthews
McLaughlin
Wright
Flanagan
O'Nien
Power
Leadbitter
Scowen
Hume
Embleton
Wyke
Jack Ross should’ve been sacked the same night Charlton beat us at Wembley. Disgrace he didn’t get that squad promotedonly LoN standing,
no way should the team we had in the first season in L1, struggled the way did,
I am grateful in an odd way we spent that long in L1, as we were able to rebuild in a way, to make us stronger,
but never again,
he went to resign,Jack Ross should’ve been sacked the same night Charlton beat us at Wembley. Disgrace he didn’t get that squad promoted
He was underwhelming, but the problem for me was in the transfer market. Was just far too many transfers made that season. We chucked away players to prioritise others who simply didn't make an impact (not even including the Grigg debacle). Utterly scattergun under the cover of the nonsense that Donald and Methven had some kind of insight into how to build a league one player. "We'll take it from here, lads. We know what's needed". In hindsight we'd have almost been better off just not signing anyone that season.I didn’t mind Jack Ross very much. Thought he was a decent manager for that level
shame how it ended
I always felt that squad was massively overrated by our fans. Was largely made up of journeyman L1 players and 'big names' that were in the twilight of their career, on the decline and/or didn't want to be there.Jack Ross should’ve been sacked the same night Charlton beat us at Wembley. It was a shocking squad imo, no pace what so everI always felt that squad was massively overrated by our fans. Was largely made up of journeyman L1 players and 'big names' that were in the twilight of their career, on the decline and/or didn't want to be there.
The league at the time was choc-full of real serious talent, a lot of which now plays regularly in the Prem or has since that season.
Still should’ve gained promotion. It certainly wasn’t ‘shocking’ for League One levelIt was a shocking squad imo, no pace what so ever
