Exactly. Although worth noting that it was new lads at Sheff Utd who made the difference today. According to Derby lads Cannon was excellent. Still stand by my opinion he is worth the money.
I'd prefer them to win tbh. The thought of a choice to play at Wembley between Boro, Coventry and Sheff Utd would be grim.
I want them to get beat of course but it’s not a worry if they win, think they’re nailed on for top 2 So many possible scenarios in a play-off campaign with so many sides chasing a spot. Loads of twists and turns ahead
I'm quite pleased Burnley are away at Southampton on Saturday, FA Cup tie. I'd be happier if they won on penalties and had to play another game. Anything that disrupts them can't be a bad thing.
Why i dont think anything will be finalised until the last day of season. possibly more set in stone come Easter Weekend but think most of it will be the final day
Gonna go right down to the wire, but I honestly believe we are better than Burnley and Sheff U. Need to stop throwing points away against the "lesser" teams, though. If we'd beaten the worst team in the league twice (which we should have done) and scored one of our pens against Burnley, we'd be top. Fine margins.
If Coventry can beat leeds tonight that will open the league right up, good thing is that we play first on Saturday which can put pressue on SU when they KO at 3

Thought it would be interesting to look at how we perform against different sections of the league. Top 8: Played 10 Points 19 PPG 1.9 Middle 8: Played 8 Points 11 PPG 1.3 Bottom 8: Played 12 Points 28 PPG 2.3 We really struggle against the midtable sides. These teams that we are definitely better than but have that bit of attacking quality that can hurt us or defensive quality that can hold us to a point. Improve against those sides and we go up.
Of course it would be nice to get top two. But I was just thinking tonight about Enzo, Neil, Jobe, Rigg and Isidor playing at Wembley. Now wouldn’t that be something?
