I have a hunch the reported interest from Coventry has forced our hand, as we can't afford to wait for Nantes to decide on Thomas, miss out on Barry then Nantes decide to keep Thomas after all. But TWT.
I dont think an option to buy is an option ... Villa have been negotiating a new contract with him... Good to know that Villa are prepared to still keep a relationship with the club going..
I think both would be overkill as Gelhardt and Kamara can play right-wing and Thomas is primarily a right-winger. Amrabat can also play on the right. Lincoln can play on the left but he's the only natural left-winger in the squad. Pedro, Joseph, Gelhardt and Burstow can also play up front. The manager also wants a much smaller squad.
But isn’t it a loan? Also you’re forgetting Lincoln, isn’t’ the a left winger? Also the Greek veteran!
Wonder if Barry on loan ends the interest in Taylor? Last update from Baz over the weekend is that we were confident with that one, though Barry takes us to 5 loans. Unless we plan on making Puerta permanent, or sending Burns back.
I would prefer Sorba as it is a perm deal and it looks like we are building ready for next season as well as survival this season, If barry deal means we don't get Sorba i would rather drop barry loan deal at least Sorba can get used to playing with the team and we still have next season.
lets be honest lincoln was 100% an acun signing i doubt he figures much unless more freak injuries occur ah well, we have to accept them now and again right so having one extra loan doesnt matter as lincoln wont even be on the bench barely
I'd prefer Barry just because we need goals and his record suggests he could help in that department, granted not at this level yet.
we are the proven club for young wingers with potential to be sent to we've proven it time and time again
