He was ill for the Leeds game and had a knock for the Doncaster game, apparently. I think Turkish media is very sensationalist, even more than ours. Retirement at 25-years-old is just ridiculous. Even if he was struggling with his mental health, he could take some time away.

I just find it hard to believe.

Its sensationalist bollocks

He very much might not be happy in the uk
But hes getting paid 30k a week give or take for another 2 and half years here

Youd guess he needs to take a big paycut for some mid tier turkish club

Theres no way galatasary/ fenerbache etc want him

Just listened to the 1904 podcast, gelhardt is imminent and they was hoping to have the winger here already but hopefully that’ll happen in the next day or 2.
So that answers the question if gelhardt was the winger or striker.
No names on the winger yet or at least not that Baz mentioned.
The guy Lincoln from fenerbache is a deal they’d like to do and see him as a Pedro type signing in that he can make an immediate impact,
The hold up sounds like it’s trying to convince his family to leave Istanbul

I'm sure Acun will manage to convince him that it's a beautiful City inhabited by beautiful people.
