he’d be absolutely perfect. Left wing until Mundle and Watson are back and then an Isidor back up / compete / sub option Scored 5 premier league goals in 12 games for a relegated side last season. i really don’t get why anybody wouldn’t want him
you’re almost certainly right but we are fishing in a completely different pond to the one we all thought we were 5 days ago.
Charlie Taylor and Ryan Manning also both available from Southampton. Both would be excellent left back options.
He seems set on Sheff United though so I’d be worried about his head being in it if he comes here down to us paying a buy option and others wouldn’t
100%, it's not an unrealistic signing. I just don't quite see the fit with us. He isnt an out an out winger, which is what we play with - he almost becomes a 2nd striker in possession which is how Sheff Utd play currently with Hamer Wouldn't be against it as he's got that x factor to win games. I dont really like him as a lone striker, struggles with his back to goal, and that's the type of striker I'd like us to sign. Someone who we can play off more than we have with our current strikers
nah he’s a professional. He’s only preferring Sheff Utd as he played there last season. Completely understandable. He’s the kind of player we’d love.
Something seriously wrong with me like, got myself not wanting someone like Diaz who I know would be a great signing all because I want to see Mundle and Watson develop
It's really tough isn't it, it has to be a balancing act between developing players for now and the future but also getting the best results immediately I will always prefer the club going for long term success, but feel short term signings can really help in that regard That's why I'm buzzing about Le Fee he should help us now and in tbe future. Our CMs will learn so much from him
I’d agree but I have a weird inkling we aren’t going to see mundle that much more. Still 3-4 weeks away and it’s a hamstring injury so need to be very wary as RLB says. we need someone deadly on the left to keep us going. For all I like AA. He isn’t that
Wouldn’t be shocked 8 weeks in Sunderland seems to be season ending think we need a winger, striker and full back now aji looks crocked (again)
Don’t really fancy BBD. Fine with him as a rotation player on loan for the season. Not fussed about him at all as a permanent option. Don’t think he’s what we need if I project that striker group into next season. If the only thing swinging the deal our way is the promise of a permanent in the summer then it’s not the right deal for us imo.
Ok mate. Fair enough and fair cop. I have made my bed and will accept it. I am in a minority of 1. Obvioulsy miles off on my part. Not the first or last time.
I don’t think it was a dig mate, more an acknowledgement of how highly you rate our current players, which I’m in agreement with when it comes to the Diaz link, I’d rather we got our own left wingers back than bring him in, seen enough of adil to think he’d be adequate cover in the meantime
