The media wasn't or isn't as silent as you're being lead to believe funnily enough. There are of course the rabid right wing media reports, Mail GB News etc etc. This from the time of the budget and as other less sensational reports belies any comparison. Time will, as you say, tell.I agree. Maybe it is because it is a steady rise to already high yields. Liz Truss was a huge jump and the added disaster of everything else. Like I said not good, and can't really take it in isolation as there are other things going on, but one to keep an eye on over the next 6-12 months
