All that matters is keeping the 3 points ticking over. Still feel we will go up the gears at some point this season, hope Regis gets a bit of help in January.

Thought Pompey were aggressive and pressed well, way better than when we played them away. We were a bit sloppy and maybe a bit fatigued but just keep putting the points on the board which is the most important thing. Got to improve our finishing and game management but good to keep a clean sheet again.

It is a dangerous lead, and it was a nervous 10 minutes, should have been out of sight really

Im sure you’re right …

… but I’m sure Leeds thought the same two goals ahead at Hull.

Three points, a clean sheet and a striker scoring will do me tbh.

If we’ve picked up no injuries that's a bonus.

I’m assuming Alese went of injured never noticed him go down though so was odd although thought we looked a lot better with cirkin on

Rubbish game but the sort of rubbish game that could easily lead to lost points.

we keep getting the wins and the the momentum builds! Well done Regis!!

Thawed out and fed at home, bloody hell it was cold! Dan Neil stood out again for me and Roberts grafted hard and seemed to come into more when they went a man down. Even though Jobe had a good game, thought he looked tired at times and hopefully he'll get a break next weekend along with a good few others. Mayenda and Isidor are linking up well but I would like to see Mayenda start putting his chances away more often but that's just being picky. He's 19 and it'll come. Portsmouth carne up for a point and the early goal did us well and gave us a massive foothold on the game. Don't think Portsmouth really bothered us until the last 10 mins when they threw everything at us.

Good to see Cirkin looking back to his self and he should've got a penalty at the start of the second half. We're 2 points behind Burnley with them to play in a couple of weeks - can't wait. Play fringe and kids next weekend and concentrate on the league. Hopefully the bench will look good in a couple of weeks so Regis can use it more. Onwards and upwards!!

3 hard games coming up soon all away
Burnley Boro Leeds , win 1 draw 1 Lose 1 wouldn’t be a bad haul from them.
I said before the Sheffield United game that 2 wins from them, Leeds and Burnley was what we need to get us towards top 2 and stand by that.
