I doubt Jobe will move in January. Even if he did I don't believe he'll go to Dortmund or Madrid. He's said numerous times he wants to be his own man and not be in his brothers shadow
I fully expect a different pathway for Jobe. He has already played twice the number of games in the championship than Jude did. Jude was known about from a very young age and was earmarked for a move very early. I see the Jobe pathway as the premier league. Either with us, or via transfer. I dont think he would entertain a move in Jan, and I doubt his family would. They know he is in the right place. Summer might be different if we dont go up, but not in Jan for me.
Ekwah wasn’t 50% it was at most 35% I can’t remember the exact number cause it was said on that exwhuemployees podcast
Some of the problem with the role he plays, striker, hes a young player, imagine go goes clean through as did Mayenda, whos only 19 other day & balls it up, grief hes getting over that isnt great..... something we may think Trey to go through yet
Yeah I agree, it'll be prem next year. If we go up I think he'll stay here, unfortunately if we don't go up he'll need to move on for his own development.
Loved Clarke for us, but it’s mundles and Watson times now. Think we’d better off using our loans in other positions.
I think he might do another year with us in championship. I don’t think he’ll be premier league ready in the summer. Mind you his progression has been rapid so what do I know
It was undisclosed so anybody claiming to definitively know the amount is likely talking out of their arse, but the agreed fee for Ekwah is £6m should St-Etienne want to go ahead which means the difference between 35% and 50% is about £900,000, hardly make or break for the club.
I think he'll be prem ready by the summer, he'll only keep getting better imo. However his parents know the score and will want to make sure his next step is the right one. Can't see them letting him join a newly promoted team or a basket case one, which kind of limits the choices.
That's the pre-agreed amount if St-Ettienne want to proceed with the transfer. https://www.sunderlandafc.news/tran...s-manager-is-sacked-with-player-keen-on-move/
He seems to be doing reasonably well in France in a defensive role at a relegation side so I think there's a good chance Saint Etienne or another lower table side will take him for good money
I think those behind the scenes at United will start to turn them around over the next year or two. They are desperate for a new keeper and defence.
Actually, I believe we’d still be classed as a 3rd club. It would require a 3rd registration. He ain’t going anywhere.
Don't see them paying that for him. That said, he would have been useful to have here at the moment. Would have definitely got some mins.
I’d agree if I knew he’d upped his intensity when playing. Don’t think he suits it over here, at all.
