Merry Christmas all, together with wishes for a happy and prosperous new year. Time to spare a thought for those less fortunate than ourselves. <cracker>:emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0168-drink

Can't make this but the boxing day match was pretty much a fixture in my calendar when living in England always a good day out.

WHU visit as favourites our last two performances sans RM notwithstanding and their own form is less than scintillating it must be said. We're due a win, overdue in fact, so a classic 3-1 will do nicely as we wash down our mince pies with a glass or two of something suitable.

I sure I'm not alone in hoping to see a Cam Archer Tall Paul combination during the game, sooner rather than later please. The players have shown a willingness to adapt and the fans are anticipating Ivan Jurić's tactics will improve our form. It will be the greatest of great escapes. COYR!

I wonder if this is going to be Rusk Pt.3 with the work permit hold ups. Jurić must be getting deeply frustrated. Hopefully he’s taking training anyway, as it’ll be working for free.

You’ve bored us with two posts about Brexshit (haha, lol) regarding the manager.

I asked the Mods to disable my ability to post on the Lolitics thread as it was, and I was contributing to, a horrid thread which wasn’t imo constructive.

It really isn’t so hard even for someone like you to keep political posts to the correct thread :emoticon-0148-yes:

I don't think it's to much of a stretch to understand brexshit hampered our new manager taking charge and isn't out of place here.

Then stick it in the politics thread if you feel this has hampered our manager being delayed.

First of all, we don’t know the reasons for the timings. The work permit also has come through today. But you didn’t know that as you thought you were being hilarious posting about Brexshit (haha, lol).

Why on earth do you constantly have to be antagonistic. It isn’t funny, keep politics to the required thread. As far as I am aware that is the rule.

You were rightly banned from that thread not so long ago, would be a first to get banned from your own thread on here, and no one wants that.

Sutton's prediction: I'm still not convinced by West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui, and I don't really know what to expect from Juric, so the safest prediction here is probably another 1-1 draw - which would be West Ham's third in a row, all against south coast clubs. 1 - 1

Eats Everything's prediction: Southampton will be hoping for a new manager bounce, but West Ham have been decent in their past couple of games - they got battered by Bournemouth but showed they were resilient and it was similar against Brighton. I am going to go for them getting another draw here. 1 - 1

For week 18's fixtures, to be played over the festive period on 26 and 27 December, he takes on Eats Everything, aka DJ & producer Daniel Pearce, who is a Manchester United fan.

Eats Everything's latest track, Upside Down, is out now, and his next single, with Gardna, is released in January. His new album follows in 2025, including features from legendary figures MJ Cole and Goldie.
