Sergio Perez is to leave Red Bull after reaching a termination agreement with the team.
The move comes after a weak season for the Mexican, who failed to win a race and finished on the podium only four times as team-mate Max Verstappen won his fourth world title.
Perez, who has essentially been sacked, said: "I'm incredibly grateful for the past four years with Red Bull Racing and for the opportunity to race with such an amazing team.
"Driving for Red Bull has been an unforgettable experience and I'll always cherish the successes we achieved together."
Perez is expected to be replaced by New Zealander Liam Lawson, who will be promoted from the sister Racing Bulls team.

I agree this outcome was highly likely , but he agreed to go , and he could have stayed .
He could, but they still would have ditched him as a driver. At best, he would have been their reserve driver.
Maybe the old "voluntary redundancy" if it makes people feel better!
Well no. If Red Bull wanted him as a driver next year he would have stayed without a doubt. Red Bull clearly wanted him gone and paid him to terminate his contract. He didn't choose to go.
