yeah, even i can see that the barcelona team was not good when he took over.

I think the job at bayern was simples and the city job is a bit mixed. It was a good side and he's spent a lot of money but so did a lot of his rivals (terribly).

If Pep was a mediocre manager I think they wouldn't have been able to over come Klopp and Liverpool tbh.

A meh manager wouldn't have been able to keep up

That’s the thing isn’t it. People talk like it’s easy if you get money to spend when the reality is most managers fail when they spend big. Chelsea and Man Utd are way out in front for net spend over the last 5/6 seasons…. If the money isn’t spent right and there’s not a manager there to bring it all together, then it means absolutely fook all. Spending big money and managing all the big personalities that come with it and then coaching them into champions, is an art in itself.

100 point seasons. 4 in a row. 6 out of 7 league titles. 100+ goals in a season. The premier league has never seen anything like it. He bettered what Sir Alex done with all that and when he matched his treble season, that took him above SAF and made him number 1, imo.

Yeah. Peterborough kicked off about it but doubt anything will happen. Something like 14 KO times across 32 ties.

Could have had Liverpool on the Friday given it’s a relatively local tie and Everton on the Saturday but it’s probably been picked for TV in Micronesia or something.

Let's not forget that The head of the Spanish refs association was on barcas payroll the whole time he was barca manager. Man's legacy is tainted at every turn.

Yeh ure right mate they were acuused of 115 charges of cheating and now after months of investigation it's 130 charges<laugh>
