Allam would have happily sold the club to him (or anyone else who would of paid his asking price), the only reason the sale didn't go through was because of the failed PL owners and directors test not because Allam decided not to.
Another 3 and half year deal with compensation paid. probably time to put the rumours of the money not being there to bed
From Baz. More news on Selles Our colleagues in Reading are reporting that Ruben Selles has been at the club's Bearwood training ground this morning to say his goodbyes, and collect his things ahead of his expected arrival at City.
Ben Elliot, Harvey Knibbs or Lewis Wing wouldn’t be bad. Wing would help a bit with the number 6 issue
Oh and let me guess, they have a player called Barry Keeper who plays up front and George Substitute who starts every game
Looks like an excellent appointment, hopefully this can bring the feel good factor back, which had slowly drained away under TW.
Don't think Tim would have ever have went on the 1904 club but it would have been hilarious if he did. I guess this highlights the difference in styles we can expect in terms of openness with the fans and media. I'm only part the way in but they talked about moving a player to right back which wasn't his main position. After numerous injuries the said player called Ruben to let him know he'd played RB in the Spurs academy and so was given the opportunity, and by the sound of it has been excellent. Just thought it was interesting to hear about that open line of communication with a player given Burstows comments about Tim.
Thats what i expect Selles seems to be incredible at making a bond between himself and players anr the fans Its that level of man management that is crucial
Cardiff City have appointed Omer Riza as their head coach until the end of the season (he was already caretaker coach at Cardiff and his record so far reads W4 D4 L4).
