Focus should initially be on getting the players RLB doesn't trust out of the club. Then i'd look to bring in a fullback, midfielder and a forward (either a right winger or a hybrid forward who can play across the front line). Would look to the PL for loans of players who aren't playing much, like Mepham. I think we will also look to sign a replacement for a future sale like we have done in the last few windows, my guess is we'll look for a young central midfielder in the Jobe mould.
I think there could be some wise PL loans we could bring in for sure, I for one would like to be the champ club that gets Louie Barry
Unnecessary gamble, he’s not going to start over Mundle or Roberts would just be another young lad on the bench who’s not our player. Need loans who’ll improve the team
Mundle is currently injured and Roberts has been really poor of late. I think we’re desperate for another winger personally
We def need another winger but I'd prefer a RM than another LM - be great if they can play both naturally Not sure Barry is the answer even tho he has that bit of xfactor
Yeah I don’t believe he’ll end up here. Think he’ll join a side where he’s guaranteed more playing time
Aye I have made my mind up that a striker a a right winger and a full back cover are the positions I would go with. A DM if samed isn't available
Can't see us signing another striker like. Four is more than plenty. I'd like a right winger and a centre midfielder an about 7 full backs but thats it.
Mundle won’t be out beyond Jan surely? Barry isn’t proven above L1 though, just seems like a gamble there’s no saying he’s even better than Watson. I’m all for bringing in another winger but not sure he’s the answer like. Fabio Carvalho getting no game time whatsoever at Brentford wonder if he’ll be available.
Joe Gelhardt (Leeds) loan or small fee, Han-Noah Massenga (Burnley) loan, Daiki Hishioka (Luton) loan, if we're looking for fringe players who are likely available.
Typical contradictory Chronicle report but who knows ... https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spo...ews/sunderland-ready-move-celtic-hot-30522113 'Sunderland have been heavily linked with a move for Celtic youngster Daniel Cummings. The 18-year-old is in excellent form for the Glasgow giants’ youth team this season. Cummings scored again last week in the UEFA Youth League (his fifth in that competition this term), to take his overall tally for the season to 22 goals in 20 matches. The report adds that Sunderland are among a number of English clubs that have “run checks” on Cummings, along with the likes of Brentford, Wolves, Fulham, Ipswich and Burnley. The fact that so many Premier League clubs are also circling Cummings does naturally put a dent in Sunderland’s hopes of signing the teenager.' please log in to view this image
