Tufan would have had a field day in this team
He should have stayed here, his record since moving back to Turkey, is no goals in fifteen appearances.

Significantly less than us in the games since Norwichok and now go list all the chances the opponents should have scored![]()
Say what you like, go back and watch the games, see how many clear cut chances we don’t take, see how many goals we gift from individual errorsYou must log in or register to see images
Walter had a good record at Hamburg, a far tougher comp than Scottish football.Ferguson at least had a good record at Aberdeen
Correct and I am sure Acun can see it too. There have been several case of sides struggling in the opening half of the season and then putting a run together. We are frustratingly just short of where we could be, in my mind that is predominantly down to having strikers that should actually be working as Lollipop men or in Tesco driving a forklift.I honestly find it perplexing that there seems to be somewhat of a minority that actually see this like we do. I agree with you. There's definitely things TW should be looking to change and improve but for creating chances to score, we're making enough happen already to warrant scoring more goals, like you say, in pretty much every game after we played Norwich. We need the collective squad to stop dropping bollocks in critical moments. It's composure we're missing.
And Delap. A point which highlights the current issue of failing to sign a goal scorer.Tufan would have had a field day in this team
Did Walter win any European trophies?Walter had a good record at Hamburg, a far tougher comp than Scottish football.

Not even a top striker, a half decent one would do!100% agree, and I go back to the fact we failed to sign a top striker at this level, our two most promising attackers are out for the season and the midfielder who looked most comfortable getting us on the ball has been banned for however long. People moan about shots on target too, but Luton game being prime example, our 3 best chances, all sitters, are all off target. That’s not on the manager, neither is Simmons missing a sitter at Burnley, him scuffing a clearance a minute into the second half against Portsmouth, Omur not burying his 1-1 vs Oxford or Slater not heading the ball down 3 yards out against West Brom. There’s many more examples too!
Kinell if we are going back that far didnt Spurs win the league two years running in the early 60’s - it’s hardly relevant to today is it ?Fergusson's Aberdeen beat Bayern Munich, Tottenham and Real Madrid to win the European Cup Winners Cup, which is far tougher than winning anything in the Championship.

Yep. That one that fell to Simons in the second half and ended up in the stand - Ozan is smacking that into the top corner every time.Tufan would have had a field day in this team
He's been subbed off at half time a couple of times. Seems like he's fallen back into old ways, a real shame for such a talented player. He should have stayed here, his record since moving back to Turkey, is no goals in fifteen appearances.
There's a lot of this being said, but teams that aren't very good miss a lot of chances. In the three games we won, the opposition missed hatfulls of chances.100% agree, and I go back to the fact we failed to sign a top striker at this level, our two most promising attackers are out for the season and the midfielder who looked most comfortable getting us on the ball has been banned for however long. Little wistful reminder...Yep. That one that fell to Simons in the second half and ended up in the stand - Ozan is smacking that into the top corner every time.
QPR could have had a few but for Pandur playing a blinder. Are you really sure oppo teams missed hatfuls ? Didn’t see it myself just saw the usual cut and thrust from both teams . If they missed hatfuls then they must have useless strikers too- it’s football at this level with little quality
