Can’t agree re second half. We let them play because they haven’t got the quality to break us down. And they didn’t. We stepped out missed a tactical foul and let them got what 4 on 3? Our fault rather than their quality
I forgot about the tactical foul opportunity. Mepham would probably go back and take the second yellow if he could re-run the situation. It still took the Millwall lad to play the perfect ball through after that.

Why does cirkin walk back in? What did Alese do wrong that warrants dropping?
Alese is just back from injury and has had a nightmare with them so no need to.overplay

Cirkin is the best LB in the league this season and has been class, brings more overall than alese does imo

I like Alese a lot but Cirkin is on a different level

this is really really poor from 09 that’s what’s cost us 3 points

<whistle>

You could say the miss by Aleksic cost us as well tbh, it's a blow but I'll get over it.

I was invited to Murrayfield, for the rugby tomorrow, and up for it until that goal went in ...

... I've sacked it off now and will just sulk all day instead.

I’m still happy with the result btw just highlighting how one daft moment has cost us a great result. Win Tuesday

Although not blaming PATTO he could've done more than just go for the shot with his legs, maybe diving and getting the length of his body the chance of blocking it as the goal scorer didn't really hit it with any force.
Yeah that’s basic goalkeeping in that situation is make yourself as big as possible and hope

To be fair he wasn't far off getting it right ...

... subs can be great but they can also disrupt a team at the wrong moment.

Bring on subs, then lose and it's all down to the manager.

I felt the players let the manager down today, rather than the other way round.

We didn't have any authority in the midfield after the break, Jobe was a huge miss.
We missed Browne's nous as well today. The young lads probably needed a calm head in there to help us stop being so ragged in possession.

It’s the weaker part of his game, I said it a few times about him playing RB again. He cannot defend when he’s chasing or its behind him. But he’s made a good case to be a starting CB here and out football seems to suit him playing there with the ball generally in front of him so can’t be too harsh on him he done a job

Alese is a quality centre half filling in at left back, he didn't nothing wrong today and covered the back post way better than Cirkin does. As with any position it's his shirt to lose.

There appears to be 3 red and white shirts caught out on the right, strange you highlight is solely 09's mistake.
O9 is playing right back this is not an O9 agenda. He gets beat by the winger and lets the winger run away into space and doesn’t track him back that’s HIS job there.

I love him. So don’t pull that card

I haven't pulled any card, just in the video you posted there are 3 players in red and white around the same player, yes we can discuss it's the right backs job, but there's also 2 other players that are allowed to help

Mepham is high aswell but he shouldn’t have to be over at the right back role. The other lad is Rigg, the middle of the park. That’s O9s error that starts the milwall move

Yes and then 3 other players compound that error. Consequently that's a team error, not just 09's as you highlighted.

Could also mention if Alesic has scored some 5 seconds before (another error) we wouldn't have had that situation

Edit. Also the ball into the centre forward could have been cut out so that Mepham on his heels and technically at fault.

Yet you dug 09 out on his own, hence why I commented as it was multiple errors

Mate what are you not getting. I’m not saying the goal is solely O9s fault

I’m highlighting his part was very poor

I know you're talking about Neil here, the answer is 4 times (3 misplaced passes and 1 tackle), which was the least amount of any of our starting players.

Seems strange to target him after he was perfectly fine today. Rigg lost the ball 23 (TWENTY THREE) times today for comparison.
Thanks mate. Proof, that for some, there is a blind spot with him. All the good he does is completely ignored by some. I didnt think he was great today, by any means, but his positional play out of possession, and his organisational stuff, was much needed. Today was a game where he had to sacrifice his own instincts for the better of the side. One of many this season. He is, in my opinion, becoming a really excellent team player and pro, because he isnt playing any kind of selfish football at all. One or two others do, and when it comes off, they get loads of credit. A team needs all sorts.
