I agree with much of that. I've watched some of his YouTube stuff but that was enough for me. My view is that if a person is full of hate, then whatever they write will never be from a place of truth.
You understand the word ‘hate’ I assume. Disagreeing with someone or having a different viewpoint/opinion isn’t hate is it?

You "don't know the details" but the law was "entirely consistent"...WTF?
You're conflating Ric.

I'm all for ripping things down and starting again but there really are more pressing matters. Plus, I wouldn't trust those who's voices are loudest to do so in a way that wasn't all about them.

I'm conflating nothing you patronising eejit.I'm quoting verbatim, your absolutely totally one sided approach to everything that has gone on.

Just to clarify and this will be my last post on this subject and any more you care to bring up.The majority of the people who were charged for the 'rioting' and who went out with the sole purpose of attacking police, wrecking hotels and setting fire to bins etc, deserve what they got,if only the law was as consistent for all criminal matters.

Now that may not fit your narrative or suit your lop-sided view of people who differ in opinion to you but it's FACT!!!

I'll leave it at that,Full Stop.

No need to get angry Ric, it's just a difference of opinion. :emoticon-0105-wink:
I agree though, it would be wonderful if the world was without injustice.

Consistent..... The labour MP who was filmed enticing murder and making gestures to show throats being cut was fast tracked through the courts just like the rioters wasn't he and kept under lock and key while his case was heard..... Oh hang on!

If that's consistent in your mind, then you either have issues and you're just willing to ignore facts that don't support your views

He was held on remand at Wormwood Scrubs for a month wasn’t he? I don’t know the precise details of the case, or the basis on which he was given bail, but he’s back in court in January and may well end up back in clink.

Shouldn't be anything but a very decent length custodial sentence considering what others have had handed to them for doing arguably less in and around that time and let's not pretend being tried in January isn't anything but an absolute joke compared to how quickly others have been delt with..... They haven't been able to sit at home with their families over Xmas and the new year.

Hopefully justice will be done to him just as harshly and deservedly it has the rioters and people posting online around that whole incident and time. Anything less then prison time would be indefensible imo

Goodness me. The confidence to say that whilst regurgitating the kind of beliefs that only exist because of the overly-platformed loudness of the biggest grifters in British society.[/QUOTEwhat beliefs have regurgitated ? I Just think that I thought my parents and grandparents were ‘wrong’ because they were ‘old’ but in almost everything their experiences have proved them right , they were poor working class but had standards of behaviour , manners and values , what little they had they somehow earnt , they didn’t feel entitled to anything . They didn’t blame everyone else and they tried to look their best and make their homes presentable , You see my age group get the feeling that we are now a real burden on society we’re swamping the NHS , we have all the money and homes spending on leisure whilst the young uns buy their lunches , have a Costa on the way to work , go to Barca for the weekend , get married in the Seychelles or have £50 k wedding , rent a BMW - but can’t buy a house or get a deposit together between them! - h

So, my approach is one-sided, even though I would rather put my faith in the law on such matters, whilst you make your own mind up without having all of the facts? OK, if you say so.
