Have the club said anything about Ramsdales injury/surgery? Do we know that he definitely had the surgery?

I was going to say, well at least the 5 at the back will be out of the window now but maybe RM will pull another rabbit out to retain.
Good chance we are on the end of our first proper thrashing. McCarthy in for Ramsdale. But do we just revert to a back 4 and Stephens takes Bednareks position in the team. Would assume this would be a game that we’d play as many defenders as possible though but who comes in as the third CB. ABK and Edward’s appear to be on the outskirts for different reasons so it’ll likely be Wood. Our team is going to be so championship v the best team in the league

It could possibly go wrong for Liverpool but it probable won't. McCarthy back to steady the ship, like he did last season?
There’s a short article in the Echo about Woods being close, so he might be the replacement for Bedders.
Having said that, didn’t Charlie Taylor play in a back three at Burnley? I might be mistaken but I think I have seen THB talking about playing alongside him, unless he was just referring to him being in the same defence.
Given the pace of Salah, I think we need 3 left backs.
