Sadiq Khan’s tax return just released. Shows he has £10mil in assets. Wonder where that came from? Labour are as corrupt as the Tories. They also lie more. Incredibly they’re even less competent
Boris Johnson was an even more spectacularly useless Mayor of London than he was a Prime Minister. £40 million flushed down the river on a bridge that never got built, an 80% increase in bus fares, and hundreds of luxury apartments sitting empty half the year, in a city suffering a massive housing crisis; those were Turds de Pfeffel's legacy. Khan, by contrast, has done a pretty good job of putting the interests of ordinary Londoners before those of his oligarch chums. Oh, and it seems you've been caught out chatting cobblers again Os. When will you learn?
Yes, and did you see how I quickly addressed it? Unlike you and your cult who prefer to lie continuously to protect your communist friends
You’ve never admitted you’re wrong about anything on here, despite being wrong about absolutely everything According to you, Biden is still mentally sound, the Southport killer was a young Christian lad and labour aren’t going to raise taxes. You’ve also voted for the worst government in history. So forgive me for struggling to take you seriously
Quote me on one of those things and I will donate £10 to charity. You lying douche. And removing the exemption on private education is not raising taxes - which is the only discussion you will find. You are such a lost little boy.
Resorting to insults because you’re wrong as usual. Sad. Where does the labour manifesto say the next Labour government is going to increase spending by £74bn and raise taxes by £40bn because I have looked through it and I can’t find it?
Where did I say anything about what Labour would do in the future? You are probably the most insincere person I have ever interacted with. Stop making assertions about things others have said when you are totally clueless. You sound like a Trump clone. Please stop lying about me. It is weird and a bit creepy.
I see that the 12000 (the number varies depending on the report) North Koreans sent to fight for Russia might not be the best of their troops, with reports of many being teenagers. Looks like more cannon fodder and a way for North Korea to get more help from Russia with their nuclear weapons programme. South Korea are saying that NK will launch a test rocket, capable of reaching America, on the run up to the US election. Has any mystic from yesteryear predicted a global war for 2025?
Labour are already failing horrifically. On top of protecting terrorists, now the OBR have massively revised down GDP growth after seeing the budget. Given population growth, by 2029 GDP per capita will be simply dreadful. We have bond yields already as high as when liz truss did her disastrous budget, and now the ftse100 is crashing too. I knew Labour would be appalling but they’re actually worse than I could have imagined. Utter morons running the country.
You are a card! Keep throwing your dummy out of the pram. The director of the IFS says this: Let’s start with the plaudits. Chancellors faced with the sort of tough public finance situation that Rachel Reeves has inherited have tended to take an axe to investment. That happened in the 1990s. It happened again after the financial crisis. The effects of public sector investment are diffuse and long-term. So credit where it’s due. The budget may only have done enough to keep public investment stable as a fraction of national income, but that’s better than the sharp fall pencilled in by Jeremy Hunt. The economic benefits will arrive years, if not decades, down the road. Subject to the money being spent well, this is an encouraging prioritisation of long-term growth. Let’s be clear. The alternative to this budget was the death of the public sector. So, keep crying bro.
For the benefit of all, a good way of looking at the financial situation in this country is this: For 2 decades there was a farm. had a really big farm and we always spent a lot on the farm to keep it going. The animals were happy and we sold the produce of the farm for a decent rate. Then an international farming disaster occurred and we stopped making enough to get by. A new owner took over the farm and decided to sort out the issues by keeping the old tractor. We didn't need a new one every year. That was wasteful. We also froze the wages for the farmhands. And we sold some of the cows. And we sold the fourth field. Three was enough to leave one fallow. Then the next year we hadn't increased our profits so we froze the wages again. And we kept the tractor - but let's not bother with maintenance. It is nearly new. And we sold a few more cows. Then the next year, for some reason, our fields weren't making significantly larger sums, so we froze the wages of the farmhands - who seemed lazier than before - and the tractor had some rust but was fine, and we sold a few more cows. Then the next year, we were asked if we wanted to renew our farming association membership. No! We don't need your regulation anymore, we said! And we lost our free animal healthcare. So we froze wages, sold some cows, and sold another acre of the third field. This went on for a few more years. Then there was a big sickness and all our staff couldn't work - but we had to keep paying them. And there were some badgers coming on to our land - and we wanted to export them all to Rwanda - so we froze the wages again to find the money. Then the tractor broke down. But we told the new buyers the tractor worked and sold the lot the Labour party. And the Labour party had to choose. Sell more cows - we only have 8 left -, sell the broken tractor, sell the last field, or re-mortgage the lot and try to begin rebuilding. Re-mortgaging is really risky and it might not work, but the other option is to keep running the whole lot down until there is nothing left. Because that is real life. So suck it up and let's hope it works.
You missed the part where we paid private contractors gazillions to make us cardboard tractors to do the work while the farmhands were sick, but spot on otherwise!
It won't, cos the Europeans haven't heard that the Labour party now run a farm. We won't need to import anything a farm produces, cos the Labour party now run a farm. Only there is a really bad slope on the farm, it slopes that far left that all the animals and all the produce slid off the end of the farm, and no one knew where it went. The people decried that this was impossible as only the previous farm owners were imbeciles and thieves. But no one saw those cows, tractors, and dairy maids ever again. The end. Of humanity.
