Think i've heard our fans talk about a tall, physical midfielder for 15 years and we've finally got one

The lad is absolutely phenomenal. He's capable of playing Premier League football today and his mentality is going to drive him all the way to the top.

I wonder if giving him so much exposure last year has driven his rapid development. Might explain Rigg getting so many minutes so far this season, following the same trajectory.

cheers again RTB...

why ya bugger a'hell man, haddaway an slap us with a kipper...how in gods name did we win that?

we were rubbish that first half mind and still wondering why that first goal was offside, can only think it was because of the lad that was standing right on patto.

midfield needs a good refresh, after a couple of 'not great but did ok' games i feel they were right off the pace and the game and we really struggled to get passing, wilson is fast, knows how to score but needs to learn how to hold the ball up and i cannot really pick a player that stood out as they all made mistakes but somehow managed to keep them out.

going to give my MotM to mundle, basically he had one chance and he banged it in, riggy would have been first choice but i felt he was a passenger most of the game,

ref watch, not good i thought, they got away with quite a few niggly little pushes and fouls but they seemed to get a free kick every slight touch, right at the end we 'cleared it' and it flew out near the touchline with the linesman stood like a lemon waiting to see what the ref would give and he gave a corner...pretty much lik ethe game it was a third division performance from the officials.

Jobe will go n play plenty of times for England, I have zero doubts about that. He should be in the England u21s already

He still needs to move the ball quicker at times to play week in week out in the PL but the defensive side hes got nailed this season - he's learning how to use his body n will only get better this season

As expected a physical game and we managed in the end. Started to look comfortable at 1-0 sort of but those balls thrown in the box are always a danger. Bet most would have taken a point at half time but when we attack we're threatening in this division. Rigg again a little gem. When the ball broke for Mundle I was half expecting some dynamite and we got it. Keep saying it 75 points and the play offs is within our grasp . Go on I'll dream a bit more. Top of the pops what can you say. Haway RLB and the lads..!!

This Oxford game comes nice for the midfield to control a game again

He wen't to head the ball then pulled out of it, didn't touch it but thats interfering with play.
