Phil Smith made a good point on their pod - bringing Leadbitter back was a good move in isolation but he wasn't what we needed in midfield at the time when we already had Cattermole and Power.I personally wouldn't want Hendersom back, it would be a bittersweet Leadbitter. Grant was great for a while but not that necessary, and didn't bring the bad Saudi decision Hendo has, Sadly a no from me
Henderson would add something to our midfield that we don't currently have - there are doubts about Samed given his inability to get fit. Would Henderson offer than anchor role that would allow us to rotate Rigg, Jobe, Browne and Neil? Would those younger lads learn something from Henderson on and off the pitch?
For me, it's not something I want to see happen, primarily for the way he leapt at taking the Saudi money, but I'd support the move if it did come off.
