I hate the OS forum now. I was really into it for a while but I got a temporary ban for posting on a thread about the board. I said that I trust Hollway's appraisal of Dunford and if anyone needs to know what GD is like they should just read his autobiography. I was banned and told my comments were "slanderous". Joke.

Not only that but it's so b1tchy on there it's just full of people who want to get on each other's backs so I wrote to a mod asking him to delete my account. I haven't been back on in to check whether they have or not, I don't want to give them the satisfaction of having my internet traffic.
 
It is terrible isn't it, but it does occasionally have the odd good thread to join in with, but mostly nothing to do with Rovers strangely enough lol.

What forums do you usually post on these days L-J-G?

Only the odd time I post on here to be honest with you.

I agree we should start being more active on here with more Rovers chat threads and less banter, although that is good for a laugh.
 
The problem is though, If we stop the banter threads, I fear this place will become dead, so anyone who has threads on genuine topics, just say in the thread no banter, and ill do me best (:D) to stray to another thread for banter <ok>

gasheads 1st mate <ok>.

this board is ours. other club supporters on our board are guests. although me and YOBG like a laugh on here, we do take the mod role seriously at the same time. if any gashead have an issue on here, you can approach us <ok>

if threads are made on here which are serious threads then you will see serious comments from me. yes i like a laugh like chris and banter but i do like to discuss our club and the issues etc. so if anyone makes a thread, i always support it <ok>

Edward Teach...you post on the alternative forum as well then Pirate? It's easy to tell which sites I post on because, other than Vital, my usernames are the same. Therefore everyone knows to avoid me on all forums lol :D

A few of us did smell the stench of "gas" and stated it,it was obviously one of the more educated and intelligent "gasheads" as it was well written,punctuated and capitals were used.

I thought Blue Baldee maybe,never gave 49'nr a thought but yes,he is right in the category, never in a million years was it cjs,ChrisGas or YOBG...

i was still accused though wiz. i was accused of being many. i only had 2 accounts. 1883gashead which had an error on it and then new account started as 3 qualities i think but that account stayed to the end but used different names. not once i was capslock or tote.
 
Getting back to today's game I thought we played a good game, bullied them somewhat which, considering ITV were hoping for an upset, was probably the right thing to do. We took our goals really well and I think praise should go to AFC Totton too as they played their part.

The cup draw is absolutely brilliant, not just for us but Cheltenham and Swindle Town too. Does anyone think either us or Swindle will be picked for a live game?

City have a tricky tie. They should beat Crawley in theory but Crawley are having a cracking season and they will fancy their chances of sneaking that one. City don't even have the compensation of having a big payday to look forward to with this one if they lose.
