The whole approach to the build up to kick off needs a refresh rather than goal music. There’s no tension and atmosphere created and that’s in part due to the MC who has very little personality and can’t seem to get the crowd pumped up. The DJ playing house music was a good idea but hasn’t really worked.

It’s been mentioned before but the Tigers, Tigers Burning Bright track was good at building atmosphere and tension.
The MC is pants....

When City score there is no lack of atmosphere.
We don't need goal music as we are all cheering anyway
When city are playing poorly there is a lack of atmosphere, so
we need playing poorly music
No, silly idea
Leave it alone.

I think a big problem is the over policing of the north stand, they’re the ones that help build the atmosphere and they’re always getting told off for something.

Not allowed to stand, not allowed to wind away fans up, etc. Just let people get a bit rowdy and express themselves without threat of ejection or a ban.
Back in our second PL relegation season (2012?) I complained to the stewards that Stoke fans were in our section and celebrating a goal without being ejected. For my pains I myself was ejected from the stadium and my details taken by the police for complaining too vociferously. I wrote to the club and Humberside plod to complain and got no reply. On a principle I then only went to away games and didn’t go back to the KC till 2022. Can’t think of another ground in the country where home fans are treated with such contempt.

That seems so small time to me. We've sung it for all of the 26 years I've been attending and probably longer I assume. How long does it need to be before we're allowed to count it as our song?

Have we sung it for over 26 years ?

I don't hate it but it isn't a unique song to us

If we really had to I’d like us to play this from 1:14 with everyone singing along & baying the away support

I guess if you're going for naff then you may as well go the whole hog.
I didn't think there would ever be any reason for me to look for a new club but that may be the one.

It's the pinnacle of w*nk.
A bird gave me a **** going up in a glass lift on the outside of the hotel in Las Vegas
That’s the pinnacle of a **** for me.

If they want to join in with us singing our song we sing at kick off every week then great. How is it a problem?
No problem that you can see, any further ideas for giving their team a pre-match fillip? :emoticon-0138-think

Then the club go to the football and football fan hating local rag with complaints and warnings etc. Wouldn't happen in any other town or city
