I feel a bit daft posting this but what the hell.

After a long day on trains and metros the first glass of wine or beer becomes a critical part of the day, especially if I have to drive from the train station to home as I can only have one pint, two at a push. I have a lovely Poretti glass I have 'on loan' from the bar at Newcastle Central Station which perfectly doubles up as a wine or beer glass ...

... before I leave the house I fill it with water and put it in the bottom of the fridge so it's chilled when I'm home.

If I pour a beer it never froths up and whatever I have is perfectly cold <cheers><bubbly> :emoticon-0103-cool:

('Please note, you must always empty the water from the glass before pouring your drink!')

More tips like this can be found on my Vlog 'Alcohol and how to get the most from it'.

Here's a tip, I bought one of those plug in night lights for top of the stairs.

https://www.toolstation.com/integral-led-nightlight/p94943

It's great for when you get up for a pìss, especially when yer pìssed and the light switch is the other end of the landing.
Saves tripping on the bints shoes and twisting yer ankle or breaking your neck falling down stairs :emoticon-0148-yes: <laugh>

On another note. Just had a blonde moment. Been rushing round the last couple hours then realised when my self winding watch said it was 5:40pm and was actually 4pm because I'd forgotten to set it <doh><laugh>

I had one of those self winding watches but it kept failing, because it was too tightly wound, so a mate suggested putting it on my other wrist. I thought that was a ridiculous suggestion tbh...

... no idea why but it worked <laugh>

Today I am officially mortgage free. Last payment made yesterday and account closed today. I’m sure there will be others in the same position as me, but it’s still a bloody nice feeling.

Next year for me, would of been 8-10 years ago but "she's not good with money" FFS
Eldest daughter is in my other house, that's mortgage free but I'm getting zero rent <doh> aye, I'm a soft cùnt <laugh> <wah>
I should of sold up and retired lol.

Mate, you’re helping out your children so that’s not a bad thing and you know it’s not soft!! To be honest we did the same with our son. My mam and dad have changed their will and are leaving their house to our lad. We don’t need it, we’re not badly off and he’ll benefit from it.
Although if looking after the cash was left to me I’d be living in a derelict squat injecting glue up my ring piece by now!

Little dogs. What’s the point? The top image is of Chaos, our Husky, sadly no longer with us. He was a proper mutt. Friendly as you like but with attitude of a dog that said I’ve got you sussed so don’t screw with me.
The bottom one is Lola, who we’re looking after for three weeks. It’s a Jack Russell crossed with a chihuahua and a bad tempered little cow with smelly breath. It pisses on disposable absorbent pads. At least it ****s outside. I’d never be cruel or nasty to it but I’m hoping it’ll go away if I ignore it.

Lola has left the building. I’ve just spent the best part of an hour vacuuming all the little spiky hairs that she left all over the place in the bedroom and I reckon I’ve probably got another couple of hours to go for the rest of the house. And as a parting gift this morning just as Mrs K was leaving for work she (Lola, not Mrs K) decided that the rug in the living room would be a good place to have a leak. We wouldn’t mind (we would actually), but there was a door open less than a metre away that was open to the back yard.
On the plus side at least the lads won and we’re top of the league! HTL.

I might be wrong, but this seems to me that 'City can continue to cheat, as they obviously have been doing as far as fiddled advertisement funds are concerned, but this is completely separate from the 115 other charges of cheating, so they might still receive a small 'slap on the wrist' and Guardiola will still have the very unfair advantage over most other teams that he's had since going to 'City :emoticon-0112-wonde
