    Are you on holiday?

My second holiday abroad, 1980, Portugal, looking out over the marina, eating sardines and drinking icy cold beer

Had some rough looking cauli left in the fridge. So cauli and blue cheese soup for us. Just put some home bread in the oven to go with it.

Hate throwing anything away me. My wife will throw old veg away if I am not watching. Can always make up a soup and freeze it for my dinners when home working on my own.

    Need help lads.

Anyone got a good recipe for Panackelty? Used to have it as a kid to use up veg. Always with tinned corned beef and at the end of the week <laugh> My dad is round for tea this coming week and fancy making it for him. Can probably put some stewing beef in instead as I am posher now...

Get photos on so we can see what’s worth eating <ok> I started a post a couple of years ago just called food I think? Where everyone put different dishes on, some good ones there were as well.

Always make it like my mam taught me. Corned beef, definitely. Whenever I’m homesick.
