This is also a good one.
I don't give a toss about predictive text only tossers do. Dildoberto can only find silly points to argue about, as he is fresh out of braincells. Always defending the indefensible actions of 2tier Kier, and never attempting to reply but avoid just like his leader. You would think as a MOD he wouldn't instigate childish behaviour, but he is always the ringleader in this endeavor, Then does a runner on to this thread until he can think of a response to come back with. So ill go and leave this thread in peace unless the gutless little weasel tries it on again. Goodbye and have a nice day

I didn’t know Dildoberto was a mod. This changes everything.

IDF confirm they are preparing for a possible ground invasion into Lebanon. Hezbollah will receive a 'very strong response.'

I met a Lebanese girl in the summer, she had an Iranian boyfriend and they were both terrified for her elderly parents in Lebanon, because they knew what was coming

I haven’t seen any news since I’ve been out here, but I can imagine what’s already happening. Israel pummelling innocent people and claiming they were hiding Hezbollah fighters

And the world will stand by and watch Israel murder thousands more women and children

I liked this post to start with, first paragraph, then unliked it the more I read on. Enjoy your holiday bro.

I think Israel could get a bloody nose this time. Hezbollah are fresh off the battle field in Syria. Tough outfit.

It read like a typical Arsenal season. Started really strong and with lots of conviction, had a bit of a wobble in the middle and then totally disintegrated toward the end, leaving you wondering why you bothered reading in the first place.

To be honest Saf I wouldn't have a clue about the capabilities of any soldiers or terrorists, no more than I do of the IDF. What my eyes do see though, is Israel have gone as far as they have, so why would they stop and not just keep going - reason I say that is the threat is always going to be there otherwise. I doubt any of us can ever imagine what it's like to be surrounded by neighbours who would happily exterminate you, so why not stamp on the threat once and for all, they wouldn't hesitate to do it if the shoes were reversed. Maybe it even needs to be bigger than this and for the US to stamp on Iran. Non of these terrorists are doing it for the people, they do it for there own extreme reasons. I don't even see my words as supporting Israel or the IDF, I'm just saying that's how I'm seeing this play out, past, present and future. The trouble is thousands upon thousands of kids are stuck in the middle of this, but the blame for that has to fall to the cowards that hide behind them, it;s how they've always fought, personally I couldn't fight like that, I would either fight out in the open or not fight at all, the choices are simple, don't involve kids. If you choose to not fight at all, at least solutions can be reached in the longer term, once trust has been built, then an end to this madness of humanity can begin. It's just one massive mess, but sadly none of them on any side appear to be backing down, so the cycle in the loss of life continues.

I have to admit, I got drawn in by the first paragraph, then I couldn't reverse out quick enough once I realised the tirade to follow.

Netanyahu ‘For too long, Hezbollah has been using you as human shields. It placed rockets in your living rooms and missiles in your garage,” he said. “To defend our people against Hezbollah strikes, we must take out these weapons.”

and there it is.

When Hezbollah have forced tens of thousands of Israelis from their home, sent ballistic missiles hurtling towards Tel Aviv, destroyed homes in other regions with their missiles and have caused fires in the north of Israel… He’s kind of got a point.

Your comment… you haven’t seen the news but you’re going to assume Israel is doing everything terrible and the poor Lebanese are innocent is really no surprise <laugh> ;)

Well this has always been my argument. If it wasn’t for Israel having the bigger and better weapons to fight with, they’d be no Israel and their neighbours would have finished the job that Hitler started… sorry for putting it so brutally but it’s the hard truth.

Hezbollah have attacked Israel and the IDF every single day since 7th October 2024. Surely even the most ardent Israeli haters can’t berate them for turning on Hezbollah, now. They’ve left it long enough.

Back to my point… Hamas are more Isis (gangsters with guns) whereas Hezbollah are a serious outfit, battle hardened and armed with genuine firepower that will make Israel nervous. They’ll be ready to ambush the IDF as they cross the border and it won’t be easy for them to be pushed back. I’ll be gobsmacked if Hezbollah go running and into hiding like Hamas.

The terrain is also impossibly tough. Whereas Gaza is largely a flat coastal plain, south Lebanon is mountainous, rocky and has very few roads or even paths. And that's without mentioning the natural cave systems in the region that are perfect for hiding weapons and setting a trap.

As were the vast majority of Gazan Palestinians that have been killed ... but mention that and you are obviously anti-semitic rather than just appalled at the loss of (innocent) human life ...

There’s far worse going on in the world than a Hamas-supporting population getting caught in a war their guys choose to put them in. Palestinianism is a hobby practiced by people who want to show what great people they are while doing **** all to actually impact anything.
