I think Villa are a far superior side at this point...Newcastle finshed 4th once, but Aston Villa are genuinely there.... they're one of the best in the country now.
This shouldn't be too much of surprise because they're a good few years ahead of Newcastle off the pitch.
Newcastle will come again in a year or two, but right now the club got stuck in the mud...people are looking for someone to blame, but the financial rules lead to making difficult decisions.
