I'm not interested in debating it, if you honestly think they are equal then you don't know much about football.
Numbers say otherwise.... both are top strikers.
BTW the goal vs Bournemouth has been proven to have come off the shoulder... they've admitted the error.
Isak league goals to games since joining..32 goals in 55 games.
Watkins league goals to games in that time..36 goals in 78 games.
Do the math.
Assists ? Watkins has loads more.

Both are just different but both are top strikers it's really that simple.
There's Haaland and then there's isak and Watkins

Haaland is out on his own... then there's isak and Watkins.
This idea isaks a far superior player is just false. He doesn't get any assists in comparison to Watkins and he can't hold up the ball to save his life.
Isak is more skilful.
I hate to say it but I agree with Chaos. They are very different players, but if a striker is judged on his goals, then you have to say that there is not much between them.
Watkins lead the line better than Isak, is much better at putting pressure on defenders and is very good in the air. Isak is more clinical.
Technique wise it isn't even close, dribbling and passing.
Saying Watkins holds the ball up better doesnt really mean anything, that isn't Isak's style of play.

Lol, I'm in agreement. It's not even particularly controversial. I mean, I'd be delighted if we signed Watkins as he's an excellent player.
