Not Rooney the ultimate professional? I don't believe that!

Sent the lads on holiday so he could have one himself? Wouldn't surprise me!

He doesn't have to do this as a job he has made so much money he won't have to earn a wage for rest of his life! But I always feel with Rooney he is never 100% committed always has the sides that one would associate with a professional sport man or head coach in this day and age. Go back 30 years and he would fit right in. But these days not really!

He does what she tells him,

Browne dropped? Neil sent off for 2 daft yellows and Browne brilliant down Pompey. No bother, straight back in skipper…

I’d have kept it the same as last time for just that reason. Equally Neil is class. It’s mad the competition. But amazing. Need one better to make it the same up top after the next window but we’re miles ahead of last year .

Im quite relaxed over who plays CM as I like our 1st 4 choice CMs

Neil does give us better balance n browne was one of the last back from international duty so that might have played a part in the decision- if it is Neil

Aye that’s a fair shout. Hadn’t thought of the internationals. Those at home will have been better prepared and fresher.

I’m not that bothered myself but Browne would have a right to be pissed off imo.

That's a needlessly negative spin on things.

Dan Neil is our captain and has been our best, most consistent midfielder for 3 seasons now.
is it? It doesn’t really bother me as I understand how important Neil is but as I said previously, Browne would have every right to be a little bit annoyed

Get yourself sent off but don’t worry, you’ll be straight back in…

I agree Browne would have every right to be a little bit annoyed but he was probably aware that as captain Dan Neil was coming back in. I think Regis potentially would have managed his expectations on that front early on?
