I doubt a deal will have been agreed already. We'd be in massive **** if Barmby had a word with Sharp about anything without asking permission from the club first, and the club aren't going to rush in to some undercover deal, he's a saleable asset and if they do decide to sell he will likely cause a bidding war in the transfer window.
 
i dont think NB or the club would do anything underhand. but Barmby did say that his phone has been red hot since he took over from players and agents. you cannot stop it regardless. but maybe sharp is unhappy about what is going on at donny at the moment ? who knows. as this is football you can never rule anything out.

But it does for other teams. There's no reason in this league to aim low, that's what the likes of Coventry, Watford and Derby have been doing for years...

I've done a bit of asking around on the Sharp link and I haven't found anybody involved at the club that doesn't think it's nonsense.

I hope we do plan to bid for him, but I can't see us shelling out £3m on an individual player, so I suspect it's bollocks.

well it would depend on who you have asked about this. surely if it is true then it would only be Adam and Nick who would know. Loose lips sink ships and all that. Furthermore, it alerts other clubs.
