Buck has to stop with him on this.

It is what it is now, just hope we can build on the strong start, but they're making it hard for the team.

I completely get the unease at the situation and my mind will change if Mayenda and Wilson cannot do the business this year.

I'm just in the waiting and see camp. Too much good feeling about the place for me to be upset when we have strengthened by the looks of it.

Now for a more positive post.

I'll stand by my opinion that selling Clarke was a good thing. The 3 signings we are making today will definitely improve us and I doubt they were attainable without selling Clarke.

Keeping a whole load of talent and signing a few to new deals is really good. Rigg is the most important contract for a long time. Jobe signing a new deal is excellent.

Browne is a great addition, Mepham is a great addition, Poveda and Isidor look exciting, Samed is a good fit for us, Aleksic is clearly a talented youngster, Moore adds something we didn't have in the dressing room.

Just feel very deflated. Think we are one position away from serious promotion challengers.

I hear about sustainability and I agree with it. Having said all that, there IS a middle ground. You don't have to mortgage the future of the club to sign a couple of strikers.

    Let down. Again.

Mundle was always going to be Clarke's replacement
This serb midfielder will be seen as successor to Jobe who I have a feeling will be away next summer

Setting aside your frustration, do you actually know what happened? If your information was good, then something obviously went wrong. Were we unwilling to meet wage demands? Priced out of the bracket we are buying in ?

Mundle is a good player. Happy he’s going to get more action now Clarke is gone.

Aye it's definitely a worry that Speakman can't seem to sign a permanent striker at all, and his history of striker loans with Butstow for example is utter ****e.

Technically we have signed a striker which was the main aim but lot of pressure on him to produce and also stay fit.

If we had signed Wilson, but then kept Clarke, would people still be as mad? I'm not sure sure even though it's a completely different position.

Overall I'm pleased with the signings but a bit disappointed we never brought in a permanent striker. I'm off to bed let's see if things settle down a bit.

    Shocking. Its just not on.

You can't go on about succession planning and then not sign a left winger when you're pursuing them.

Or not sign a striker when you've got the luck we've had with the past few.

You want to get promoted you don't want and see, you go and get.

    We haven't. Again.

It will falter and we will lack in the 9.

Not sure how many windows we have to say this.

35000k season tickets. Shirts selling out. We deserve a competent number 9 and a push to be ambitious.

You do when Birmingham are spending +10m on a striker down in L1.

I mean, we do have Rusyn, he's just a bit ****e.

Mayenda has scored twice in 3 games.

And Isidor has just signed and he's a striker.

And Hemir hasn't left (yet), is also ****e, but is also a striker.

So technically we've got 3 senior strikers...4 if you include Hemir.

Philogene was cheap because Villa had a sell on clause which obviously was cancelled when they resigned him. If he'd gone anywhere else the fee would have been higher.

Happy with all those signings, Clarke it was inevitable but it gave us a great opportunity to go get someone special upfront for this league and they failed, maybe it wasn't lack of spending the transfer fee but more not wanting to break the wage ceiling.. I'm speculating here.

As I said earlier I do feel for Hemir. Will stay as our fourth choice striker and not move to Juventus.

    You can’t defend this like.

Why wait til the last ****ing day to start making serious bids? Why **** about waiting for Mendy?

Hope Isidor hits the ground running. Poor ****er will have some expectation on his shoulders.
