Not a popular thing to say but it does look that way. We all want to believe that it was about Acun and the people still here, but managers obviously play a massive part. Walter seems to have a clear, progressive style of play which is part of what players will want but he's a confusing and to me unconvincing speaker. Compare his speaking with the super-smooth and clear Rosenior and there's a huge difference.

Last summer didn’t really have much “pull” though.

Delap came early not much talk of competition.

Connolly and Lokilo were cast offs/budget. Same with Allsop.

Twine probably saw the most competition but Acun put a lot of work into that one.

Morton and Philogene both came deadline day

If you actively sort out the actual wheat from the chaf you can trim it down to about 20 pages.

Waiting for the go ahead from norwich city though

Kamara is atleast prepared for the long trek

I'd be prepared to believe you but the Dreamliner is the 787. The 747 is the Jumbo Jet.

Are there any free agent strikers worth having - eg this one who had a good scoring record with Hatayspor, but contract just terminated in MLS after bar brawl. His broken jaw should have recovered by now …

I'm not sure but, according to the free agents part on transfer market. We released Aaron Connolly and he's worth £2.5m. Seems like a knee jerk decision now...

Joao Pedro from Fenerbahce is free agent. Perfect target for us to waste some bucks.

Mefffert and a decent striker we’re top of my wish list. Looks like I might be disappointed. Palmer and Rushworth felt unnecessary but appreciate Rushworth might actually make a bit of a difference.

A lot of pressure on Bedia and Burstow if no one else comes in. We had Delap, Connelly, Ohio and Sharp last season. Just one injury and we are struggling to have a striker on the bench.

It is funny that 80% of the free agent strikers with decent market value are former Turkish League players, Boupendza, Joao Pedro, Delle Alli (if you count him as forward), Niang, Dzuyba, Maxi Gomez, Eysseric, Ahmed Hassan.
