Yes hopefully they've learnt from last January that you can't just add 6 players and have it gel instantly. It takes time to integrate new players.

That’s where we differ. Rushworth won Supporters and Players ‘player of the season’ at Swansea last season. I’d say a proven Championship goalkeeper, in the England setup, is enough of an upgrade. As I say, maybe I’ve misunderstood, but that’s the vibe I got from the last few pages, not just from yourself. I’m sure others would/have agreed.
That Swansea side that finished where? I'm not saying he's not an upgrade, I'm saying he's not 'too good to pass up' when we've just spent 7 figures on a CL GK in Racioppi. It's just sporadic recruitment.
He’s like Allsop in distribution (actually better) and Pandur in shot stopping so I kind of get it tbh
Then I just hope we send Racioppi out on loan because we need the keepers we actually own playing and developing.
A side that finishes lower, generally has more shots at them. I’d say he’s done rather well. Racioppi has made a few Champions League appearances (from a team in a poorer division). Comparing their records, I know who I’d take my chances on. Having said that, I obviously would rather our keepers are better. I just don’t think they will be.
And what if we get an upgrade on Hughes today or tomorrow that’s too good to pass up? So we loan someone else in and piss off hughes Last day of the window and we get a chance of a centre mid that’s too good to pass up ? Can go on and on with no clear plan
It would depend on the specific example, but if it was too good to pass up then you would, of course you would
Why would you?, what is the point in buying these players who have good reputations and can play pushed out on loan when they can develope here they can learn the system we always complain we get loans and no permanents and when we do people say send out on loan they are good enough for our first team so play them and stop buying or loaning in positions we have covered.
At some point you need natural development and stability in the squad. You can't just tear it up every summer because players who are better on paper are available. Back your system, manager, and structure to get natural improvement out of the players you have topped up with some key talent in key positions. If you just keep buying and buying and buying you won't get anywhere.
I'm by no means a football analyst, but I wouldn't be disappointed to see Omur benched. He has a lot of energy, and always looks busy, but he really struggles with end product, in terms of either goals or assists. Taking the pressure of him, and making use of him as an impact sub until he gains some sort of form, probably isn't a bad thing.
Because players come and go, the goal is to get City into the Premiership, you achieve this by having better players
